BREAKING: Trump storms off “Meet the Press” after reporter asks him to back up his election fraud claims

Donald Trump abruptly ended a live interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” on June 7th after anchor Kristen Welker pressed him to produce actual evidence for his claims of election cheating in California’s primary races.

The blowup unfolded during what was already a chaotic sit-down in Wisconsin, where Trump had been visiting ahead of the midterms. After Welker pointed out that Republicans were performing well in California’s recent primaries, Trump insisted the results were being rigged. When Welker pushed back and noted that the multiday vote-counting process is standard procedure under California law, Trump responded that all the evidence he needed was his own gut feeling and hearsay.

Welker kept pressing. Trump kept dodging. Then he snapped.

He called Welker, the press corps, and multiple major networks “crooked,” then ripped off his microphone and told her the interview was over.

“Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough,” he said before walking away.
